Really good trucks, but parts aint cheap.
I was looking at them before I bought my Sequoia.....let me tell you, they hold their value really well and they are solid trucks, part of the reason I went with the Sequoia instead. Same engine and transmission and it shares some running gear, except no front and rear lockers, and almost as reliable. I think that was only optional on the land cruisers, it only came with the 2 speed transfer case as standard.

Replaced the #2 cylinder coil pack today on the Ex with a motorceaft. Had some aftermarket brand in there that was missing 2 or 3 times on every launch. Was driving me crazy....all smooth and powerful now...

Griots is good stuff. I got a promotional bottle of their detail spray from a Corvette forum once and it smelled amazingly good. Worked just as well.

I think I'm gonna try the Scrubbing Bubbles method, the Lexol worked well on my truck but from seeing the video I might be able to make the leather even cleaner than I already managed to get it.

my dad uses his 01 excursion daily for construction type work, its FILTHY. he got it in like 2002, pretty much new, and we just used it as a vacation vehicle and going out to dinner etc at the time for a while. then he started using it for work after he sold his van or whatever he was using. it got super dirty. then when gas prices got crazy (when they very first started spiking to crazy high prices), he decided to get a smaller SUV to use to haul his tools around, something that still has good space but way better fuel economy, and just use the excursion if need for trailers, etc. so he got an 06 scion xB and used that for his daily driver (it soon became filthy as well lol)...

just realized i rambled on about something that i didn't need to...haha, but anyways when he stopped using the excursion at that time, i decided to clean it up and i drove it in between my other daily that i had at the time. believe it or not, i used this, of all things...

i just had it in the garage and i was cleaning the carpet in the back, and i think how it happened is a little sprayed on the third row seat. so when i wiped it off, i noticed it cleaned it REALLY good. so i tried a larger spot to make sure nothing bad happened, and it worked. i sprayed the foamy stuff on, let it sit for like 30 seconds, then wiped it off, i think i used a thick bathroom towel so i could softly scrub it. it really cleaned the leather up super good. i don't think i have any pics in my photobucket, but i remember it working so well that i did the whole truck with that stuff. the stuff in the pic says multi purpose, but i wanna say the stuff i had was specifically for cleaning carpet lol.

anyways, sorry about the long post. LOL.

Used mine to jump start the Wife's car today after Church. Apparently the wife left the dome light on for more than twelve hours again.
