The PO was as serious about keeping his rig as mint as possible as Michael is. Nothing wrong with that whatsoever mind you! So when he got a tiny, TINY blemish on one of the covers he replaced the mirrors altogether. Turns out the blemish was transferred paint which flaked right off, so I'm happy with the price

Power mirror, power fold, power telescope, heated, signals and running lights. They came off a fully optioned 2008 F350

They have memory as well, but I imagine that'll be pointless to even try to figure out. Plus I'm the ONLY one that drives my X. I let the fiancé try once. Just once. It lasted one block and I told her that was it... She's used to little cars and her lane-awareness was catastrophic.

I did clean the battery terminals and truck connectors with my terminal brush as well. Thinking the terminals were dirty from dried up CRC battery terminal protector and moisture. Will re-install tomorrow and see what happens.
When I returned home from work today I noticed a puddle on the ground underneath my truck. Turns out the P/S pump must be leaking behind the pulley.Sure enought the reservoir is low. I did get the battery and alternator back in, everything checks out for voltage after cleaning the terminals good. Tomorrow I'll be tearing into the P/S pump though. Never ending battles.

Baby got a new pair of shoes. Taking off for our trip in the morning. Yokohama YK-HTX, we'll see how they ride. I've always been a Michelin man on my F150's, saw some good reviews on these. I have 1080 miles journey ahead of me on the first leg. I'll keep you posted.

You guys can call my truck the leaker. The oil pan leaks but the funny thing is, there are very few, if any, spots on the driveway.

I just had to go threw this with our work truck (https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...k-tugly-2.html).

Like most times I thought it was something top end leaking so I went threw and replaced all the o-rings and gaskets top end like I did with my X. Everything dry as a bone and still a puddle on the floor in the morning.

Turns out it was the pan/main seal. So now the only thing left to leak on this 7.3 is the oil cooler some day.

I just gotta know... did you do all the boots, or just the top?

If you did them all in 10 minutes, you have to share how you did it.
