Tasca Ford in Seekonk, Mass is probably your best bet for the cheapest OEM leaf springs. Less than 2 hours from your location.

As far as valve springs go, If you race the car often, you should change them by the year. If you cruise the car and occasionally go to the track, every 2 or 3 years. the most important part of saving springs is backing off the rocker arms of the ones that are on a lobe when you store the car. If you store it with compressed springs, they will break the next season. I've had the same springs on my heads for about 10 years and always back them off without issues. I sharpie which ones on the valve covers. My car goes 9.80's and has a .670" solid roller, .290 @ .050. Its pretty rough on the valve train. You also want to make sure you're at least a hundred from coil bind.

Excursions RULE!!

Least that one has seatbelts. The one's I've seen on Youtube are pretty much hold on or you'll fall off.

If you run that ATV fast enough will the vomit from the seat #1 rider hit the seat #2 rider?

Double shoulder belts on both seats and roll bars. Uncle and I just finished it up the other day. 3.08 S10 axle. Can't go much faster than a couple miles an hour, you'd just turn brains into mush.

Safety was a big concern.

Do you have a way to uncouple the platform so you can transport it from place to place a little faster?

No, it is "super" welded to the axle. By super I mean the excursion frame should break in half before this thing comes apart. We didn't really want any weak points, however I'm sure an improved, safe system to couple/uncouple could be devised in the future.

Good idea
