How long ago did the driveshaft break? Looks like it has been there for 20 years with the grass growing right up to the tires.
From time it got stuck to unstuck was about 3 hrs. The first pull I did, the driveshaft was good, but the tires where pointed to the right. The angle I had to pull at was trying to drag the front of the truck sideways. It actually would pull the passenger side tire off the ground! After the shaft broke, we had to get creative. Lol
You would be very surprised how soft the ground gets here. I'll try and find the pic of when I got a bump truck stuck in my driveway. Front end sank right down and the tires dented the culvert.
We get some soft ground in the spring around here too. Just the way it looks in the pics it looks as though it is a vehicle that just sat for many years and sunk slowly on its own and the grass grew right up to the tires.
Ya, that's how it looks, it's like it happens at a accelerated rate around here. Lol. When he first stopped, the sod wasn't even ripped. Just sunk down big time.
Finished the install of NEW Y-code (2wd - F350) COIL Springs into my Ex. Leveled out the ex from side-to-side and gained 3/4" of an inch on the front. Changed Oil, along with Oil and Fuel filters. Rotated the tires.
Can't wait to drive it around Monday to see how it rides with the new front springs. (The obligatory pictures will be in their own thread soon )
Rained early afternoon both on Sat and Sun which made it take longer. .
