Changed out driver side tow mirror today. The new mirror folds both ways and telescopes. The old one only folded one way and did not telescope. The manufacturer included an adapter to go from the square plug to the rounded plug. Then the surprise! My X has a black pig tail for the heat function in addition to the rounded plug.

Oops! Twenty bucks more to get a connector with the necessary pig tail to connect up from the X to the mirror.

IMPORTANT: Whatever you do, DO NOT OPEN any emails that refer to IRS, Government, or DHL shipping confirmation #!!!! IT sends a virus that destroys/wipes out your hard drive!!! I opened the DHL email thinking that someone had sent us a pkg for xmas & that's all it took! Now my computer is at the shop & I'm hoping that it can be fixed w/o having to replace the actual hard drive. GRR!!!
Please feel free to crosspost, so they know what to watch out for as well.

Took advantage of the unusually mild weather, washed the X outside by hand. Drying was a little tricky, as it was starting to dip below freezing as I was finishing! LOVE the look of a freshly hand washed X!

Was thinking of waxing mine today, but didn't feel it was going to get warm enough, only 40 today. Really wish I had a bigger garage!

 

I hate parking outside at night around here so its nice to have the garage for mine, G

 

Finally got around to doing the SEIC mod and Fog light mods. Great writeups on this forum made it a very easy job.

Now just got to loosen up this driver door switch. WD-40 just wont free it.

 

I helped my brother carry this huge tv someone gave him.




*Him and his girl were sure it wouldn't fit. She even laughed because she thought we wasted our time,*




She missjudged the size of my cargo area.. All she can say then was " Jay, your truck is huge".....lol

 

Changed out the iac sensor, 15 min not bad. Running smooth now

 

She sure swallowed it up real easy! That's a huge TV!
