two ways to look at it, all aluminum will never have any issue like that (may possibly have another though later in life) OR it took that long for the OEM one to have this issue it will last you a good while...personally i'd go all aluminum and try to eliminate the problem area.
I'm going to be parking the Ex off to the side of the driveway and plugging in the trickle charger since i'm leaving for Vegas tonight!!

Thats how I looked at it although the oe lasted 215,000 miles. I think it will make my choice easier tomorrow when my buddy gets the price on the oem unit
I got my OE radiator on ebay for $125 with free shipping and it is very good quality! I couldnt justify an all aluminum versions costs considering mine went 320000 miles and it just had a small leak that had sealed itself, i only replaced it because i had to remove it to get the engine out for timing cover replacement.
Its a "NOCO Genius GCP1 Black 13 Amp 125V AC Port Plug" I found on ebay. I bought an extra fog lamp bracket, made a mounting plate for the outlet and mounted the bracket just inboard of the LH lamp. Drilling the holes in the top flange of the bumper was a serious pain, had to cut down a drill bit to fit up in there. On the bottom flange, there were already holes for the air deflector so I made a bridging bracket, used a large fir-tree trim fastener for the fog bkt to the bridging bkt, then bolted the bridging bkt to the bumper flange. Looking back, I should have pulled the bumper off to drill the holes and made the job easy....but the moron in my head took over my one engineering brain cell and had at it.
After that I cleaned truck plug contacts, applied dielectric grease and sealed the plugs together with a sticky vinyl wrap. I have yet to test. Tomorrow evening maybe. Im hoping the 13A is enough.
Thanks guys!
