That would have been the first time I cried real tears since my last mutt died.

Yeah, I knew it - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums - View Single Post - Resto mod of an Excursion aka mecdac "Upland Bird Hunter Edition" with pictures (Excursion ****) I was hoping to get one more month.

Meanwhile the GSP (GA State Patrol not German Shorthair Pointer) was quite helpful in assisting my tire swap. He had a two ton floor jack in his POS Dodge Charger and that was much better than the EX bottle jack configuration.

Weird thing is he kept on telling me about the FORD 7.6 diesel, he mentioned it three different times. I am just trying to change a tire here hoss not getting in to a 7.3 v 6.0 v 7.6 v V10 v 5.4 v "whatever" debate on the side of the road it's 97° here.

That is pretty cool the officer assisted with the tire change, even after spike stripping you. Its amazing the things people will do just to check out a cool truck.

I've just been driving mine lately. Gotta love the open roads of the west.

Gonna start detailing the exterior this week, now that its cooled off a bit. I'm jealous of how good some of your rigs look.

Been driving mine too and I love it!

Like yours, it needs a bath and some detailing as it's been almost 2 weeks.

Once it cools down this evening, it's on.

The 7.3 would get some love too, but my buddy has it while his new to him 6.0, is off getting bulletproofed.

That was truly LOL funny, thanks.

Not only to check out the truck, he proceeds to look in the driver's/passenger compartment while I am changing the tire and I say "I have the necessary permit if you are looking at what is on my front seat," (loaded S&W .38 Special in a holster) and what he could not see was more fun (Glock 31 .357 Sig Sauer in the driver's door and a Sig Sauer P220 .45 ACP in the center console) just in case.

All in all, a nice guy doing his job and I was glad he could help.

He was the third different person in three days that said..."What year is your truck, it looks brand new."

Is it just me or with the placement of the RPM needle, the fact i cant see the MPH needle, can i assume your are stretching the Ex out a bit?

No, maybe he has it pulled in first and just cruising along nice and slow

Are those 2 UFO's on the left top side of the pic? I would love to take my EX out west, I have it all planned out but just haven't been able to take 2 months off to do it.

Glad your able to enjoy roads like that, I'm the one that's jealous.lol. I'd be ok with a little dust on my EX to be able to drive like that.
