if you tint the brake lights, doesnt it make it allot harder to see the lights? i think it looks cool and all, but i want people to see me stopped. do you have any before and afters of how much light it takes away? i have a family in our ex most the time, so safety before style for me, one of the reasons we got the ex was because its so large and safe.

when the lights are on they show up pretty bright still. one of the other reasons i got the LED hitch receiver brake light. to add some safety. i will take pics at night.

Where do you get the LED taillights, just a parts store like Autozone? Are they just plug in replacements, or do you need to upgrade the wiring also? Sorry if these sound like dumb questions, I'm just not well versed in the electrical areas

Fordboy, No dumb questions here. It's a full replacement taillight. I got mine off ebay. They are NOT cheap. about $300.
Will post a pic in a few

Oil change, etc - including a sample for UOA and general maintenance check for road trip to N.E.S.T.!! Loaded 90gals of high-cholesterol fuel on board and Muns is hooking me up with 90gals for the return trip when we get to PA - thanks man! Also aired the rear tires up to 80psi - ready to hook the Toy Hauler tomorow AM. Daisy (labradoodle) and I are picking the boys up early from school and hitting the road! (they have a 4 day weekend) Generally stoked for a FUN roadtrip - as opposed to the 1000's of miles I travel for work.

I may be able to do the b-code swap after all this weekend. Sure will be nice to loose the 'Cali squat' aka load-in-the-pants, nose-high look. I've had v-codes up front forever and stock rears...

Got all the injector o-rings done today! Tomorrow on to the pedestal gut and o-ring and maybe fuel bowl rebuild if there is time.
