Sticky choke

I have a holley 4160 electric choke carb on my 78. The choke plate gets stuck wide open, which in turn makes it a bear to start. I have to take off the breather and move the plate to un-stick it then if I hit the throttle it will set and work just fine. It does not seem to be rubbing anywhere. I have had this problem since installed new in march. Its really starting to bug me, any suggestions?

Sounds like the fast idle linkage is binding.
