clutch

I am about to swap a NP435 into my Bronco II, just wondering what clutches you guys are using. Have never really run a stick in an offroad rig before, just want to make sure I get a decent enough clutch that can hold up pretty good.

Zoom. Or a quality stock replacement. That's what I've had the best luck with over the years.

DO NOT RUN A CENTER FORCE. If u burn one of them up they won't stand behind it.

I wouldn't guarantee a clutch either, you never know how bad people are driving a mannytranny.

Hell, they aren't even covered under factory warranties.

I figured if it didn't hold from day one they should warranty it. Take foot off clutch, hammer on gas and it would slip.

Put a zoom in it, beat the crap out of it, works great. That's all.

ya it wasnt abuse.... abuse is when i busted all the springs out of a clutch disk.. (stock replacement) they didnt want to warrente that either, but I just welded the splined part to the disk part eliminating the springs all together.. that clutch you just had to let out fast, or it shook the whole vehicle like crazy
