no idea but the screens are different and so is the part number.

cheezit: 2003 6.0 hpop, I hear that a common issue, is that Navistar uses a ball bearing for a plug for the pressure check valve. if you had all of the parts that came out, why could you not put them back, tap the hole for a allen gally plug screw it in with locktite and reuse the HPOP?

the reason I cannot is I work for a dealer. If you know this is your issue and you dont mind doing it twice if it doesnt work out then have at. If seen it work before. Ive seen it not work before too.

cheezit: Well I am going in, I have my shade tent set up, a couple of walkup aluminum saw horses, back brace and shoulder sling. I have a general idea of where the HPOP is, what DO I NEED TO KNOW WHEN I GET THE TURBO OFF? Should I do something with the oil cooler? If so what? This is a 2003 6.0, I am either going to make it run, or introduce it to some C-4. What do I need to change while I have it a part? is o-ring kits available from the dealer without buying a lot of stuff I wont use? truck has 164,000 on it. New HYPO HPOP.

without a running truck its hard to say what else you should do. being that you have a new pump it should have everything the pump needs to be installed. I would also replace the oil supply line that goes from the pump to the turbo.
you may also want to pick up a turbo install kit.

thank you, it was suggested to change out the oil cooler seals and screen while this far down. put air in the top if the hpop, bubles everywhere. with 164,000 on it, I will change the water pump, both idlers and belt, maybe it will run this time. Did get a turbo kit and every seal ford had available.
