There is an international (IH) plug you can buy (I'll dig up the part number) it's brass, has hand grip plus Allan head and has a stopper so it will not fall all the way out. On my set up I've a pre and post filter with 6.0 pump in middle, pre is a water separator too. Pre and post are all steel spin on filters, same size and thread size too iirc 30 microns and 2 microns.
