2006 F350 diesel

Need to replace fuel tank pressure sensor does anyone know where on the fuel tank it is?

There is no "fuel tank pressure" sensor on your truck. In fact, there is no fuel pressure sensor at all. Where did you get that info, and maybe tell us more about your problem.

fuel pressuer sensor

i guess its on the fuel pump it self it was Fords diagnostic that told me i needed to replace the the fuel pressure sensor my engine light came on that was there fix for 1200.00 dollars now there can't even tell where this fuel pressure sensor is located

Does your invoice include some part numbers? That would tell us what you paid for.

I'm thinking they told you "Injection Control Pressure" sensor. But without part numbers or better description it is only a guess.

On second thought, for $1,200 it might have been "Fuel Injection Control Module". Sound right?

fuel pressure sesor

I did not have them do the repair i thought it was to high so i plan on doing it my self but they told me it was on the fuel tank at one dealer now a different dealer tells me i need to bring them the paper work from dianostic because there not sure what where it is

Sorry, not enough info to help you. Hopefully the second dealer will be better to work with.

BTW, most '06 will still be under engine warranty. It's 5 years/100k miles. Your emissions warranty could cover it too, same term of coverage. Not everything is covered, but most fuel related things will be. So it is important that you learn exactly what they are selling you.
