Nah, Miles....little too far for me. You should definitely go up and check it out...there's gonna be a lot of fast trucks there.

 

I heard it rained out during eliminations and was re-scheduled for Sunday....did you happen to go, Miles?

 

I didn't make it Steve but it rained like crazy on Saturday. I was going to go on Sunday but instead got to do engagement photos.

 

I see......well, there's always the race in Pueblo on Aug 28th. I'll be at that one.

 

I did see some pretty nice looking rigs on the interstate yesterday.

 

Either of you 2 coming down to Bandimere for Truckfest on August 8th?

I finally got my truck into high 13's Miles, shooting for mid-low 13's @ truckfest while still driving it every day and rackng up almost 3k miles a month on it...

 

I'd love to run Bandemiere some time but I can't make it on the 8th.

 

I would also love to run Bandimere this year but I haven't made a race since June 20th. We won the race that day running really slow and have been fixing transmission parts ever since. Had to replace the intermediate band and drum, all the clutches and steels, the servo and the snout on the torque converter. There is a non points race next weekend that we are going to miss and then going to miss the race the weekend after because we are headed to Bonneville to watch the salt flats races. Trying to make the race on August 28th.
