I had a blast again on the track and dyno. My best track time was 10.60 @ 74MPH reaction time sucked and I missed 3rd gear on 2 runs My dyno numbers dropped from last year even after getting updated tunes twice the truck felt stronger going BTSOYP feeling but HP was 405 and Torque 742 I ask Jody what was going on and he said ( I don't have any luck with HYBRIDS) and that shows. I will deal with this problem later. I was glad to see the big gains on some trucks this year. Hopfully next year we can advance more

508hp and 933 tq with a little spray, I believe i'm still having a few issues to work out, but all in all I can't complain seeing that just the other week I had my motor out on the ground, and only had 350 miles on the motor when I jumped on the dyno.

Great numbers Robin! Pretty awesome. I am kicking myself for not getting a ride when we met last month.

I wonder how I can get my truck to go that fast. I think I'll start by growing a beard.....

Mine were 10.50s @ 67-68mph. I'm slow but I make it up with good reaction times since I've been drag racing Mustangs since I turned 16. Cheryl did a 10.7x and a 10.8x when she went down the track which was pretty good for her first time. I just couldn't get her to mash the pedal down at the start, she kept wanting to ease in to it and I had to keep yelling mash the pedal!

Seeing all the good numbers on the dyno and the fast trucks definitely makes me wish for some bigger injectors, but then I get over it until next year. I'd love to run the 1/8th in the high 9s. Also btw, I was talking to some of the fellas that were running the track, did you guys know the timed portion of the track has an uphill angle to it? You get down to sea level on a flat track and those times would be even better.

Greg,

The beard didn't slow me down so I don't think it will do any harm. Ya gotta start somewhere.

Thanks for the kind words. It was my truck. I was happy but I was the 3rd or 4th fastest iirc. I didn't have rave tunes so we will see what times I lay down next year with a 310 tune, studs, and a tcm from spartan

Whipping everybody?? he only ran against one guy the whole time!! It's still dang fast for a fat truck!

I wish I could have raced a few other people, but that woulda meant more times down the track, and I needed to try and keep it in one piece to get the camper and family home.

Ditto. I did 7 runs. Breaking into the 8's would be sweet. But not at the cost of my truck
