was there a tow package for our trucks. i was looking at lift kits and there two different ones. with or without. how do you tell?

 

Yes there was an option for factory tow package. Ford should be able to run the VIN and tell you if it had a tow package or not. Send Ed (www.partsguyed.com) a PM.

 

If I recall a tow package has swaybars but run a vin check, that should tell you like mentioned

 

I have a tow package on my 250 but it doesn't have sway bars. It has the wiring harness and trailer plug attached to the frame and it was prewired for a brake controller. That is all I can tell unless the springs were different.
