i put my mechanical one in and never had a leak.... but i r professional lol

the people at the parts store can pull up the info for the T and little straight piece of pipe...

its all 1/8th NPT i think... its been a few months lol

I bought the parts I needed at the hardware store. A brass T and a short nipple between the T and the hole in the block. Do not use teflon tape! Like Matt says the sending unit won't ground and the factory gauge won't work right.
