Hello Everyone.
This Friday I had an Open Q&A chat with, I guess, the hiring manager who happens to be up in Alaska.
I sense that this civilian outfit is setting up something new over there in Afghanistan. Might be that they took over a contract from someone else.
I was advised that whenever I should be heading through corporate headquarters that I should not have any ponytails nor bushy beards.
I said to the guy, no problem as I was in the military before and I'll get a regulation haircut just because.
This company does a lot of government work and operates out of military bases, so I have to get a security clearance but I don't know to what level.
And that being the case I'm not asking too many specific questions.
I don't even know if I'm working NGO civil aviation aircraft, or the military variants.

My dyno sheet.
Fastest time in the 1/8 mile was 9.77 @ 71 point something mph and yes I won a live tuning session with Jody at DP Tuner. Is it next year yet?

So I got to work yesterday morning expecting a pretty uneventful day as usual. The owner is on vactation, so it's ok that I don't have much of anything to do right now. I got my FDA, and hazmat paperwork together and was getting ready to leave. Walked out to the vans, started one up, and I was a little startled to hear a nice loud ROAR! from the exhaust. I thought to myself...there's no way the exhaust rotted out, the van is an 07. So I got out, crawled underneath and looked at the muffler first. No problems there. Started my way back up the system, and what do I find...No "cats". Just nice clean cuts, about a foot apart with a big open space where that "cats" should be. Somebody came by our office over the weekend and zipped the "cats" off both our work vans. Just lovely.
