Anyone replace their freeze plugs before?
My plug is leaking on the drivers side behind the motor mount on my 302. I do not think it is to easy to get to from underneath. I think it might be possible from the top side. My other option is to pull the tired motor and replace with a newer built 302 from my 79 truck.
It kinda looks like I may be spinning my wheels replacing the freeze plugs in the truck.

Some are accessable in the truck, some are not. I dont think i would be replacing a engine just because of a leaking freeze out plug.
Lift the engine, remove motor mount and see if you can accesses it that way. If nat you may need to pul the engine to change it. I would change them all if you pull the engine

Right now I have the motor mounts undone and the exhaust manifold off. I jacked the front of the motor up and removed the mount. Two plugs were leaking. I have two replaced and am about to work on getting the third one in. It is doable, just a little awkward.
I also forgot to drain the block. I got a very nice shower.
