These trucks are working on erosion control.

This truck was trying to take a breather of some fresh mountain air when she was shot for being in the wrong place at the wrong time! Sad, Very Sad.

I know where a 48-50 panel is, I'll go knock on the door if ya want me to. I have been contemplating doing it to see if they want to sell it. ??
the one pictured above is out at the Utah Fire Fighters Museum in Tooele County about 30 minutes west of Salt Lake.
Here's another nice panel, My Sister got married just across the highway from this one, when I saw it I told them that they had to get some pictures with it! they turned out great too. oops, getting a little bit O T sorry.

Great picture...of that Ford truck...with trailer...marooned in a huge snow drift.
BTW, one of the greatest blizzards in this region took place on March 4, 1966 and blanketed....and I mean....really blanketed the area from Chicago...north through Minnesota, North Dakota and Manitoba all the way up to Lake Winnipeg.
I spent a lot of time in the northern Minnesota, southern Manitoba areas during the 60's and in my many years I've never seen a storm...blizzard as bad as March 4, 1966.
There's a great book...called The Relentless Blizzard of March, 1966 by a couple of North Dakotans...Douglas Ramsey and Larry Skroch that covers this storm of storm in great detail...over 600 pages. I bought the book from the ND Museum...I think it was in Bismarck.
