Well, my 1990 F150 ext cab short box has a tonneau cover, cheaply done. I can only assume that such a terrible job was done by the previous owner, whom to this day I believe is a crack head or a drunk. It's a folding canvas cover with the snap-lock things. They are not straight and many of them are broken or falling off little by little. I want to get rid of them!! They're unsightly, rusted, and the paint is bubbling under them and I'm shuddering thinking of the possible damage done to the truck because someone couldn't install the snaps in a straight damned line!!
So my question is simple: How do I remove the snaps that are on the bed of the truck? Is it an easy removal or do I need "special" tools?
