I was just wondering if the 9" rear end and the Dana 44 front end from a 78 F150 would be a match for my F-3. And what is the normal price that everyone pays for these?

 

If you're looking to build a 4x4 49 Ford, you could probably make it work. But be prepared for spring pad relocating on the axle housings and having your tires hang outside the fenders a bit. How much would "everyone" here pay for the parts? I'll guarantee you the guys here are pretty cheap, and the answer would be 'as little as possible.' ;-)

 

Haha, well thanks for the info, that really gives some good insight. And I was wondering about the price just because I am not sure and didnt want ot start overpaying, the guy wants $250 for both parts, which to me doesnt seem bad but like I said, I dont know

What year and model would have the bes swap for the front and rear end?
