Motor Home V-10
I have a 2007 Holiday Rambler Admiral ( Purchased Jan 08) F450 Frame, which has a Cruise control/ wiper problem.. When I use the Cruise and turn the Wiper on to delay settings, several of the speeds will appear to turn the cruise off. I had to have the wiper motor replaced, but found that a incorrect motor (drew too many amps) was installed. I am waiting for a new motor (not a Ford part). I do not know if this will fix the problem or if it is a related issue? Ford repair shops say it is just a sensitive cruise and will not try to fix it, even though I am under warranty. Does anyone have a solution?

In my opinion the dealer is full of junk but I know where they are coming from because I was a service manager at a dealer that worked on a lot of Ford chassis motor homes.
The problem is that you having the wipers on shouldn't affect the cruise at all. The coach manufacturers are bad about not following Fords guidelines on how to mesh their wiring and a lot of times the coach folks just find a "hot" wire to get something working. The Ford dealer sees your concern and the first thing that comes to their mind is another coach manufacturer wiring nightmare. They should just tell you that on the front end. Their thinking is that if they tear into the wiring and find an issue with the coach wiring who is going to pay for it. The coach is still under warranty from Ford and probably dutchman. They can't bill Ford warranty for the repairs and the coach manufacturers are a pain to deal with in getting them to admit to a wiring error. This is why when I was faced with this situation I always told the customer that they would pay for the repair if it was found to be the coach manufacturers issue and we repaired it.
Sorry for not giving you more help with your actual issue but I think in the long run the issue will end up being with the coach manufacturer.
