nope. dana axles are made by dana and idk who used to make "corporate" axles, but now they are made by a company called aam, american axle manufacturing. the corp. 10 bolt is loosely based off of a d44, but that is about it for similar axles between the two.
This is off topic, but does that truck's brakes work by stopping the drive shaft/differential?
This is known as a pinion brake. Generally found on trucks with 2.5 ton axles or larger, not very safe for lighter trucks that are street driven, a lot of guys go 4 wheel disc on the rockwells, but it's $$$$

There are ways around that.. Like in some areas, it a vehicle is over a specific wt, it doesnt have to comply with bumper ht laws.. Also, If you register one as say a class III OHV, you can run almost anywhere you want (just not the interstate)and have dam near any thing done to it...
yeah, where you live, not in illinois. well you can, but you are limited to roads posted 35mph or less. dave was the first to let me know about ohv registration, so check it out for your state as the laws very, but you might be able to build a badass truck and still keep it somewhat legal.
