TSB 08-28-1 and hesitation in rainy weather
Anyone heard of this? My truce experiences this in rainy weather. I went with a Bank CIA and no improvement. I've also seen where many other 6.4 owners have had the same issue. Could it be this is the fix we've been looking for? Please let me know your thoughts and if you have completed this TSB and with what results.

The TSB in question is actually 08-25-1 (6.4L DIESEL - WHITE SMOKE IN DAMP WEATHER CONDITIONS WHEN ACCELERATING - VEHICLES BUILT BEFORE 10/1/2008). This TSB applies to vehicles that experience significant amounts of white smoke under heavy acceleration in high humidity or rainy conditions. Hesitation as a symptom is not mentioned anywhere in the TSB...

I had the same problem and I had my mechanic pull up that TSB and they changed the charged air cooler (intercooler) and the new unit work great. I have not had any white/gray smoke or hesitation while trying to accelerate while it has been raining./><O></O>

What is the TSB number they told you? Originally I thought water was getting into the Intake but this is not the case. This morning it was 90% humidity but not rain. Even without any rain but with high humidity my truck still hesitated. No smoke but hesitated almost everytime so water in the intake is not the issue. I even took the top off the intake and still had the same problem. I think this intercooler thing just may be the issue so i would like to know for sure what the TSB number is.
Thanks,
