Wow, that looks great! Very nice shop. I will post pictures of my shop as soon as I trim up some of the limbs so it will look nice.

Nice looking building and the darkside thing you have going looks good too. The shop will certainly be nice with a lift in it as well.

Thanks folks, the pic of the '48 was taken at my buddy, Eddie's shop. He did the front clip and drive train swap. Waiting for the carpenter to complete my shop so I can start wiring, insulating, and interior walls. I cleaned(wire brushed and blasted) the frame, primed and painted. I sand blasted the cab, primed all and painted the bottom. ready to get the radiator and tank squared away and actually see if I can get a grunt out of that engine. I just went through a heart stent on July 8th so I have been taking things a little easy for a while, I'm ready to get inside the shop and get something going on the '48.
later, Mike

Nice looking shop! It looks like you really planned ahead to get the headroom for a lift, good thinking. I did not do that (16 years ago) and ended up modifying trusses and creating an inverted pan ceiling to get my lift in. Putting in a lift was the best thing that I have done for myself in a long time. Enjoy your new shop!

You'll feel great in no time after those stents, I had it done 8 years ago but was just told I'll need a triple bypass, I see a surgeon next month. so get yourself into a good healthy exercise routine and watch your diet so you can enjoy that new shop.

Thanks folks, I had 5 bypass' in 1999 when I was 51 yrs. old and this stent was put in to one of those grafts. 90% blocked up. The bay area is 16' high at the center, giving me approx. 8' head room in the loft. I took a friend's advise and had the bay door to go up with the ceiling angle. He decided this after dinging up two trunk lids with the door at the standard height. Hope to retire in 2 months 4 days--but who's counting? Thanks for the encouragement and kind words on the shop--size is 30x40 8/12 roof.

nice!! i hope to have something like that one fine day.

I have half a dozen stents myself. got the first one a month before turning 40. 2 more since in the coronaries and 3 in the legs. I hear tell bypass surgery can be much less invasive these days. do goodly on the surgery!
