idk if its just me or somethings not quite right........

i broke the axle shaft bearing etc... in my truck this morning....

yeah axle bearing and C-Clips broke....
idk why but they did... but im gonna pull the diff cover off and make sure there aint any BAD carnage inside... if there is im just get a junkyard rear end...

thats what everyone is telling me the Detroit Tru-trac still uses the stock C-clips...
so honestly idk...
i guess ill find out when i tear it apart..

Wow sorry to hear that. Sure does look a little funny. For some reason I don't think your brakes are working too good. Might need adjustment. LOL

yeah... im pulling the Diff cover today to see what all is broke etc..
as far as i know/hoping, its just the axle shaft bearing (already bought a replacement) and the C-clip.....

well its in the shop now... i popped the diff cover off and stopped there... i wasnt gonna go any further... looks complicated cause it is complicated...

DAMAGE REPORT... both axle shafts have damage... drivers side broke, right at the c-clip, but the clip is fine. the passenger side is cracked.. was holding on for dear life...
both will axle shafts, bearings and seals will be replaced and it should be back on the road probably tomorrow afternoon..
