Need some help guys, on a dash piece !!

Anyone know where or might have a good one laying around ? It a 96 F150 4x4 I just picked up a few weeks ago.. and I have almost everything pretty much cherried back out except that padded dash piece that runs from around the radio over to the passenger side, just above the glove box.. My interior is grey color.. I have seen a couple on Epay..and they say in good condition ..? Some scratch's etc.. well I dont want to put a scratched one back in..kind of defeating the purpose..

So any help would be much appreciated !

Thanks Guys/Gals

are you talking about that foam filled vinyl thingy?

If you are looking for a fully textured and uncracked. . .you are looking at new-OEM from someones old stock room

If yours is solid, but just worn or faded. . .you can lightly sand the texture off and paint it with a good vinyl paint (I did it with rattle can stuff in my 87 F150 and it was perfect for as long as I had it).

You can also stretch and glue fabric over the piece. . .tweed, headliner, or even fake leather vinyl

And what I wanted to do with my 87 F250, since it has the wood XLT trim, was shape a piece cherry to match it and stain it light brown and finish it. Woulda been sweet

Finally, shape a piece of high density foam to match and cover it with a few layers of carbon fiber for a nice Ricer look

Yeah Steve I'am being picky cause the truck is so cherry...thats the only ugly thing about now that I have detailed it for 2 weeks to get 14 years worth of Chit off of it..and the pad has a bulleye about the size of a half dollar just above the glove box.... I also need to get my Kenwood juke box in there and an amp or two and some good speakers... I have heard better sound systems on 10 speed bikes !

Hey Russ, I'm going to a pick-a-part next week. I'll Check. Know what you mean about keeping nice. I just picked up a nice 87 SC 460 powered.

Well Thanks G, I would appreciate that.. Good parts are hard to find in my area...hel it took me 5 years and god knows how much running around to finally get a good 428CJ block for a build for the 70 F250..and I still have to run out to SoCal to get it..I have it stashed at My Moms houise for now..Glenn (FFR428) and myself are planning a road trip for next sept out there to see some friends and do some drag racin also, Got a buddy up in Redding norCal that has a 62 falcon with a built 428 running 787hp and another bud that has a Hemi Top Alky Digger were gonna see it put thru its paces...I'll get to drive the falcon..but not the digger...as I dont have any seat time in it..So it should be a fun trip..
