That grill just isn't Ford's best effort but I'd sure take the rest of the truck! Those stock tires need to go but nothing a good set of Mickey Thompsons or Nitto's couldn't fix for me! Tim even managed to get the rear door panels to work with the conversion- nicely done!

I like what was done but I am in agreement with others about the fender flares and the grille. The grille is what gets it for me, I'm just not sold on the look of it.

I'd still take one though!

Since it lloks like the second row doors are from an Excursion, I wonder where he got the interior door panels from? The Excursion doors are a little bigger than a Super Duty crew cab.

As far as the fender flares, maybe they should look at fender cladding that overlaps the front fender lip and make a matching set for the rear.

i think he custom makes the door panals...seems the only way possible.

the fender issue i dont find to be to much of a turnoff...it kinda flows in a way.

myself i'd take a 6.2 king ranch in that pearl white color please and thanks lol

They're the SD 2011's doors, they chop the front end off of the truck, extend the frame (if needed), and drop the rear end of an excursion on it, weld it up, and add matching trim.

My only gripe is that from the second row back, the plastics and trimming still would not match the front of the Excursion. You could of course cover all the plastic with leather or some sort of other material such as alcantara and the issue of mismatching plastics would be resolved.

no, those are excursion rear doors. they are longer and have a sloped window insted of the square window in the rear of the crew cab super dutys.

my guess and would also be the easy way of doing this swap is they cut at the a-piller/windsheild and add a excursion body, in this case.

the 6 doors are differant as you can see the use of the crew cab doors in the middle.

I like it. Would like it better with the diesel. But too pricey for me.

If you can afford $80k for that truck, I doubt you're too worried about the warranty.

Wow, I would love to have a brand new Excursion! I agree on changing some things up on it though.

Man, I wish everybody would quit posting pics like these! Really makes me want one!! Oh well, hopefully someone at Ford is seeing these customs and they start building them again so I have something to replace mine with.....hopefully in about ten years
