Will do. What I like about posts are that I can go back and re-read everything over and over until it sinks in.
I left a visitor message with a few of the guys who run the van turbos. So far, only duck fan has replied. He said he loves it, tried seeing what it was like with stock sticks and tunes and said it was slower than the stock turbo, but with tunes it pulls good. Really well on top too.

I received a back issue of Diesel Power in the mail the other day and they have some budget build-ups in the range of $1500,$2500,$5000,$10,000 for both the 94.5-97 and 99-03 7.3 diesels. I can't remember exactly what price range it started at(I think $5000) but, they were suggesting Stage 2 injectors and quoting 370-420hp at the wheels with other normal mods.(Intake, exhaust, tunes, ported housing) They also recommended an accumulator body(I think this is a valve body?) and a new torque converter as well. Any thoughts on this William?

Heh
Go back to that article, and count, out of the 15-20 build ups, how many are for a powerstroke diesel.
Oh thats right, about 3 or 4.
Remember, diesel power is also the magazine that does not know how HEUI injection works. They screwed up one article about it, and corrected it in the next magazine with incorrect info again.
According to them, you do not need oil to run a HEUI injector.
Just sayin, info isn't always a blessing about PSD's from them.
Ported heads dont give you much of anything with our trucks, it's got a turbo.
If you wanna make power, you need sticks, oil and turbo.
IC's and TQ's help.
As well as trans upgrades.
If you got injectors from casserly, you'd be up there on price. He's a great guy, and has a great product, but he's a bit pricier than Jim.
I really want to meet and talk to him. Everyone says good stuff about him. I stick with jim because of the way he treats customers. And his prices are good, and he'll work with you. Casserly doesn't do rebuilds I don't think either, which is something that Jim does.
I duno what an accumulator body is. last 4 vehicles have been stickshifts. I forgot what an automatic is. haha.
My SHO is even a stickshift.
With you having an SD, you get a better starting point. Electric fuel and an IC.
I don't get that. Bigger oil as well, I have 15 degree, you get a 17.
So, your good for stage 1's, and small stage 2's without an oil upgrade.
You really have to ask your self what you want to do.
How much power you want to make.
350 is doable with stock turbo and wheel upgrade. Stage 1's and a tuner.
You'll be makin around 350 HP.
Actually, you might be making more with AB's.
