Have to change the rear springs

Hello everyone: I need to know if a 4 leaf spring will work to replace a 5 leaf. The eye leaf on the left side front broke and I checked with Jeff's Bronco Graveyard about their 5 leaf set but they said that it would raise the rear end up to high as it has an 8.5" arc. The GAWR for the rear is 3770 lbs. Jeff's has 4 leaf rated at 1770 lbs. per spring. Will these work? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Are you replacing the factory springs or does your truck have a lift kit on it?

I would just order a set of the factory Bronco springs, should work fine. It may sit a bit higher in the rear but the springs will settle after you drive it for a while.

I have found an exact replacement set from JC Whitney. Each spring is 5 leaf @2,073 lbs per spring, which is just slightly over factory.
Thanks for the advice. Dog
