Las Cruces roll call

Just wanted to check and see who else is from the Las Cruces area. I've gone through several posts on here and it doesn't look like there are many of us.

I'm here in Cruces toward the Organ Mountains, with a beautiful view from my backyard. Nicest neighbors I have ever met and I've lived in 5 states

Been to the Dona Ana's and Sacramento's lots of times on the quads. I think my f350 might be a little to big for most of the trails there. I will take it through Monticello canyon next time we go up that way.

Are you a quadder too? Always looking for someone to ride with. Fair warning, at 57 I'm an old fart and I tend to ride that way. Need for adrenaline has dropped off, but I still do a little.

Adrenaline!!!

At 44 I still have the need for speed!!! Race motocross in Tularosa and track days at Arroyo Seca on supermoto. Most Sunday(unless racing) I can be found at Red Sand NM. I am mostly a 2 wheel guy. I do have a couple of quads. I am actually going out near the San Fransisco river (just past silver city) this weekend to ride the river beds and hang out with friend.

One of my former students used to race up at Tuli. Maybe you remember Brian Nieto?

Have fun at the river. It's running at 35 cfs now so you might actually get wet. Just don't start any fires.

I'll probably be heading up to the Sac's to ride around the 12th of next month. Plan to camp at Bluff Springs.

The name sounds familiar. Will the forest be open for riding by then? I want to spend a couple of weekends up in that area. I usually camp off of 64.
