The handle to my 2nd row bench seat broke and I need a replacement, but I am not sure of the part number just for the handle. This is the handle on the 60/40 bench seat on the driver's side of the seat that controls the release mechanism for the 60% side of the seat to fold forward and slide at the same time to allow access to the 3rd row bench seat. This is the handle that sits verticle along the side of the seat that you push toward the driver's seat (or toward the front of the vehicle) to release the seat. I checked the parts diagrams and with Parts Guy Ed, but I still am not sure. Ed believes it is part number 2C7Z78613E35BA, but it still seems unclear. Can anyone help? I just need the plastic handle - the inner workings of the latch are fine. My daughter caught her dress on it and twisted it to the breaking point when she exited the vehicle.

I ordered the replacement handle, along with two air filters for my wife's 2001 E-150 conversion van. I really appreciates Ed's information and pricing for these items. Does the MSRP of nearly $70.00 seem steep just for a 4" long plastic handle? What makes these parts so expensive? Just because they can, like what choice do we have?
