wire guage?

what guage of wire should I use for the turn signal wires on the original 6 volt?

I think that I used 14ga. No issues for several years.

Yeah, I'm with Ilya. I wouldn't run anything smaller than 14 guage with 6 volt.

While this calls for #16 on the tail, parking, and stop lights, I used #14 when i rebuilt my harness. I also used #14 for the turn signals. Only place I used #16 was for the dash lighting. btw, you CAN easily repair/rewire the bulb holders without too much monkey business and save yourself a whole bunch of bucks.

well I have this 54 f600 that I need to replace the wiring harness on and I have to make my own turn signal wires because the frame is so long. I also was wondering if there is a cheaper place to get the factory correct wiring harness than macs or dennis carpenter, or should i just empty the wallet and get it??
