fuel vapor valve

Hey guys. i'm putting the wiring harness back in my truck and ran into this valve. I ran a search on the part number E4TF- 9C915-AA and came up with fuel vapor solenoid valve or something. What does this do?? It has 2 vacuum lines on it. Does anyone happen to know where the vacuum lines run for this? I pulled the bronco in the shop to see if i could find it on there and it must be under the upper intake or on the other side of the TB b/c i do not see it anywhere. Thanks guys.

CANP solenoid. One side goes to a port on the throttle body the other side goes to line running back to the fuel tank. This line also connects to the fitting on top of the charcoal canister.

Good line drawing of how it is connected:

OK, so what i'm talking about is called a CANP solenoid. thanks for that correction. I guess i better start looking for where that line comes up from the tank rollover valve. is that Carbon Canister over by the passenger side fender??? Have to ask b/c it's been a good year since i tore this thing apart!!

On edit: where is this purge flor sensor at also????

The carbon canister is located on the passenger side frame rail/inner fender. On an OBD-1 equipped vehicle there is no flow sensor for this circuit. The PCM senses the current flow to the solenoid to determine if the valve is opening when commanded.

I should have made note the drawing was for a '96 T-bird which does have OBD-II. The overall diagram I thought was pretty good otherwise.
