If you add modifier when the fluid doesn't need it the clutches will slip too much to the point where you only get traction to one wheel. You don;t need to add modifier to the Mobile 1 - 75W140...

ehgeeray, that's what I read on the forums, thanks alot. It seems to be working fine. What are other's opinions on Mobil 1 75w140?

RSUPER,

The EGR delete is working out great. No issues whatsoever with it. I cannot intelligently speak to any performance gains because I did not own the truck very long before I did the delete. But not routing exhaust into the intake and not purposefully heating my coolant even more just seems like an all around better way to travel.

I did not get any codes, I did not have any special tunes. I merely reinstalled the EGR valve, plugged it back in, and started the car.

For what it's worth, because you have an '05 like I do, you might get lucky not having to get a special tune. From what I have read, the consensus is that some '05s you can just plug back in the EGR valve, and some you'll have to get a tune. Hopefully yours will be like mine.
