Hey guys,

I have a question that I've spent the past two hours scouring the net trying to find an answer, and I just don't see one. Will the diesel fuel filler neck assembly from a 2001 through 2005 Ex fit a 2000?

I've found a lot of information about modding the 2000 to accept the larger fuel nozzles, but would rather buy one from a newer model if it will fit. My original problem is that the 2000 Ex we have has a broken filler neck from the previous owner and leaks fuel when cornering with a full tank.

Since I have to buy one anyway, it would be easier to find the newer model, and I wouldn't have to mod it. It's hard to believe that nobody seems to have ever asked this before. lol

Surely one of you has access to a 2000 X and a newer X and could compare.

 

Filler pipe should be all the same, since there were no major body changes and all tanks are 44 gallons. But that's just supposition on my part.
