spraying a 4.6
well, was poking around the internet and found a video of some people that sprayed a crown vic rental with a 150 shot. surprisingly, it went from about 160 hp to almost 300 and ripped lol. sooo, i was poking around at the idea of spraying my motor when i get it rebuilt. how long do you guys think the new motor will last if i spray it occasionally? the motors either gonna be a 5.4 or 4.6 stroker(5.0) with some head work, cams, tune(duh) and little things like LTs, intake, etc. im kinda aiming for the 400hp mark. figure nos would be an easy 150hp.

Since you are going to do up a motor then do it up right so it can withstand what ever level of horsepower you will subject it to. Make sure it would be comparitable to a shortblock that can be supercharged. Buy one or build one. There are several places you can buy the rotating assembly from and put it in your block. Check Livernois motorsports first.

If you're not willing to use a different intake manifold (not just an intake tube or "CAI"-not sure which you're referring to above as "intake") on the engine-don't waste your time with any power gain goals. What are your goals for the engine? What are your intended uses for the vehicle?
