OMG What is this ???

I would expect something like this from a 48-50 truck owner but never a 51 52 owner!!!!
something must be in the water!

Nice paint job though.

apologies to Joe, as I'm sure it was a lot of time and work to build this truck but I'm sorry just my first response was one of shock and horror!

Someone got the ugly stick out real early on that build - and used it often.

Interesting that they opted to go with such an extreme channel on the body and then left the top at stock height. Not to my tastes but hopefully the owner is pleased with the results...

Maybe the bottom was rusted off? Cut off all the rust and that's what was left.

Funny you would say that because I think thats exactly what the article said! I went back and searched for it again after I first saw it becasue I wanted to know what the back half looked like and I think it was rusted pretty bad. they did do a nice job with it ,but just looks darn funny with that front end.

I think I owe the 48-50 guy's and gals an apolgie though, they would never have done that to a great looking 51 52 truck. sorry

I agree, just because you can does't mean you should. Maybe they were on acid when they built it...

The fundamental question to this thread is? What is this? In the second picture on the back was the scrip FORD, I'm going with that.
