429 super cobra jet supercharged or turbo
never ran a turbo or super charger but i recently pickd up a 429 cobra jet from a torino . i would like to make it run on alcohol or another type of fuel other than gas. and would also like to either super charge or turbo charge the motor. iam going to run it in my mud truck ,i would like to get some real power to the wheels any thoughts or ideas would be great thanks

upgrade everything!
forged crank and good rods not factory. ARP bolts. upgrade the headgskt area to something better. Also good ignition MSD or better to help fire under boost. 850cfm or better on carb. Gonna probably need a main bearing support also. Just a few things to think about. Check out ford F2000 offroad racing truck. twin turbo 460 ford around 1000hrspwr 1969 ford truck for offroad racing youtube f2000 1000horsepower off road racing or 1969 ford truck. Awesome truck. About 250,000 bucks to your door. What type of transmission? auto/manual? upgraded motormounts and probaly a motor plate to keep from twising everything to hard. 1/2 ton frame won't cut it been their done that. good luck and drop a PM. Also forgot to ask what type of oil incase of contamination and oil gels up and lose oil pressure. Many little things that can go wrong and can go write with alcohol.
