how can i get a replacement title for my 1946 ford truck

My aunt sold me a 1946 ford truck a few years back , The truck was titled in alabama she moved to pa and sold the truck to me ..it has a vin number and i have a notarized bill of sale from her ..i would like to get a title for it before i start restoring it but have no idea on how to get a replacement title ...does anyone have any ideas on where i would start ? thanks !

your best bet would be your states DMV. Also welcome to fte and this part of the forum is for the 09 and up f150. here is the link for the 47 and older ford trucks.
