I got a 460 out of a lincoln bout a 75 model and wanted to know if its possible to strip off the a/c compressor and the power steering and it still be fine, also my basic question is can i use the same ignition system that is currently on my 68 f100 and fire it up and it run right it is carburated, but was wondering if anyone had done this and what types of issues they ran into, i have the mounts and perches and towers and all to sit it in problem is i want it to run when it does
Not sure on the ignition system. If they both run the same kind it should work, but I dont' know if they are both points style or newer... Depends on the distributor mainly.
Is your '68 a 460 also?
