Ok i just got in from putting my tires on my truck. I have more pics, and they are way different(better then before). I have the tie rods and drag link that boss 300 took off his truck because mine is a 1/2 ton and his is 3/4 ton.I am going to put the tie rods and brakes on tomorrow or wendsday. I will have pics up tomorrow. Me and boss 300 have been talking about doing a joint write up on this so every one will know exactly how to do it and will have alot of pics. for now though the pics he gets tomorrow and i get tomorrow will have to do.

Well I drove my truck around town last night and tonight. I dont have much time to post so you'll have to look at my gallery for pics. All I'll say is that it still drives just fine. I need to trim the left steering stop as it dosent turn as far to the left as the right. Otherwise its still a good riding and driving truck.

I sent you a PM, looks like you got it right so far. If you leave that radius arms where it is, you'll need to swap the shock mounts side to side.

I wouldn't swap the radius arms.

You can see from the pics above why I don't think flipping beams is a great idea. Just look at the caster - looks like 10-15* the wrong way....

They have to bend the beams to do so. Pretty much like bending the beams to fix the caster if you kept them right side up and ran a lift coil.

Part of the caster is built into the radius arms (which is only part of why I said leave them on the side they came on) and the rest is built into the beam end.

depends on the shop.

If you couldn't find a shop to bend the beams to fix the camber - then I doubt you'll find one who can fix that caster as it is all in bending the beams.

Shops that deal with big rigs or OLD school alignment shops are the type of places to call.

With the caster like that I'd be very interested to hear how it drives on the way to the alignment shop. My guess is it is going to be squirelly - so be ready.

It could be fine. I can't say as I have never personally done it - I'm just saying based off the pictures it looks like a bit of caster pointing in the wrong way - which is why I've always been concerned about people doing this, and one thing I've wondered about when people do it.

In the past I've never seen good enough pictures looking at the end of the beam/upright like you posted so I was never able to see if the caster was as bad as I thought it was going to be.

And again I haven't driven anything with caster like that, but from what I've read and been taught it could be pretty "loose" or squirelly.

If you have a shop that will bend them - finish up and get the things over to them. Just take it slow and take a few minutes to see how the truck drives/reacts when you start to head over there.
