65 F100 rear wheel drive Front brake drums

I am replacing all brake components in my truck, started on the front. Came time to put the drums on and they wont sit flat against the hub and stay on the truck without the wheels attached to hold them on!

Thoughts

Drums NAPA Part # 440-1133 Premium Drums.

Thanks

Are the replacement drums heavy pieces of chinese material ??? Most replacements are...in my experience in dealing with this, the mating surface to the wheel on the new drums is loads thicker as its a fully cast drum whereas our originals werent...you gotta get longer axle studs if thats the case...originally the axle studs were swedged in the hub and drum joining the two...press in and press out...if your hub has bad splines where the wheel studs press in...hub is junk...

Post pics if possible.

whatever the difference is in the thickness of the area the studs go through on the 2 drums...if its like the one I dealt with a bit ago...its about 3/16-1/4" difference...

It appears that I have slightly under a 1/4" difference. Off to have new studs pressed in.

Thanks for your help
