Planning a trip... need info!

Hey guys wife and I are taking our vacations July 2 through 10 and heading up to Washington then down the coast. Looking for advice on places to camp and things to see.

First destination deliver granddaughter to son in Lacey, WA
Day 2 - George, WA - Concert at the Gorge *happy dance*
Day 3 - 4th of July celebration in Astoria, OR

Plan to spend a couple days in Astoria and wanting to hear of must see places!

Heading down the coast and looking for a really great RV park to spend our wedding anniversary. Anyone know of something say around Tillamook would be real nice!

Then on down to Newport or a little further, need RV park and things to do in area, haven't been there in 15 years!

We will spend our last night at Turtle Rock resort in Gold Beach unless someone knows of a spot on the southern coast that is a must see!

If we are coming through your town and you have the time let's meet up!

First on the fireworks Seaside has a better show it doe's get crowded and a bit nuts.
Places to see in Astoria You have a choice of museums starting with The Columbia River Museum and several others depending on what you like. Then on to the Astor Column ,Fort Clatsop and Fort Stevens.
For an RV park I could list several in Tillamook what are You looking for suggestions would be Cape Lookout State Park,Netarts Bay RV Park, Tillamook River RV Park,Tillamook Bay City RV park and Pacific Camp Ground would all be good choices.
Any questions I will do my best to answer. I do deliveries in Clatsop and Tillamook Counties.

Also, if staying around Tillamook, I like the airmuseum, the old blimp hanger is great to see. And the old planes are good to.

Hey guys made it back in one piece! What a trip, has taken me all week to recover!
The truck ran great but I need a turbo on that thing, pulling the 6200 lb RV over some of those mountain passes had my truck working hard but she never overheated and stayed running smooth the whole trip!

Chris sorry we couldn't hook up on the trip, came through seaside on the 7th when it was 96 degrees! We were just there long enough to get our tattoos and got the heck out of that hot town lol. We spent that night at cape lookout on your advice, it was the PERFECT spot for us to spend our anniversary! Had a great sunset on the beach that night.

So we went from here to Olympia Washington, then cut over to 101 and down the coast, spent nights in Astoria, Tillamook, Newport and Bandon. Our favorite was Astoria, that is one awesome area! A big part of this trip was to find out what part of the coast we liked best because we hope to move there after our youngest daughter moves out this fall. We have spent the last couple years checking out the southern half of the coast but hadn't spent much time up north. After seeing some of the northern coast and meeting the people up there we are hooked! Hopefully in the next year I can find work up there and we can move!
