SIGNAL MIRRORS

I just got out my original window sticker to answer another posts question and noticed under the section titled KEY STANDARD EQUIPMENT that my TT mirrors are listed as POWER, SIGNAL, HEATED MIRRORS
I knew they are power to aim them and heated but there has never been any operational turn signals. Did the 03 even have them or are mine just not working?
Thanks, David

The Excursion did not get the Power, Heated, Signal TT mirrors until the 2004 MY.

What is the range of motion on the mirrors. I can only get it to go up, down, and side - side, I can't get it them to push into corners, and when you bring it in max closeness, (side - side), it adds a move down, and then can't get it back to the original position, it just kind or walks all around the spot you want it to go. If you send it out, like when someone has their brights on behind you, and you redirect the light right back on them-(l love that trick, they get the message REAL quick), the mirror gets stuck and you have to pull it back in manually. I was wondering if this is a design flaw, or something which can be fixed. I was wondering if part of it is based off the driver seat position (Limited Edition with electric/heated leather).
We have several drivers, so everytime I get in, I need to adjust.

The window sticker for my 02 states the same thing. I thought to my self, "self" those aren't the mirrors that I have. Then I read on and listed under the optional equipment section was my TT mirrors. If I'm not mistaken the first ones listed are the smaller mirrors. I could be wrong however just basing it off of what my sticker says and what is on the truck.
