97 F150 heater core replacement

Get ready for some fun if you do it yourself. Yes, the entire dash has to come out. While I was at it I would thoroughly inspect the blend door for cracks. These trucks are notorious for these breaking.( Hear that little click under the dash?) That's the blend door and it sits right beside the heater core. Search this forum and you can find thorough instruction and pictures on how to do both. You're not the first and won't be the last. Good Luck!
