A new owner of a '05 F250 6.0L

Hi. I just bought a 2005 F250 XLT Supercab longbed, bright red, 4x4 and 6.0L Diesel. I have two questions so far having it a full 24 hours now. I don't have an owners manual to tell me so if they're done, I'm sorry. The first question is about keyless entry; I wasn't given the code, so is there a way to reset it? or a way to retreive the old code? My second question is about the up-lifter switches, how do I tie into the switches, like when adding offroad lights. Thanks for the help.

The code is behind the dash, but I don't remember where. I'm sure someone else will help you, though

if you can not find the code behind the dash you will have to take the truck to a dealer and have them pull it from the computer

Okay, you're covered on the upfitters. Now the keypad code.

First, once you have the code you will need to know how to use it. Get a download of your owners manuals here:
http://www.motorcraftservice.com/vdi...d=&kevin=rules

Just click on Owners Guides on the left side tabs.

To find your code, this thread is a pretty good one:
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/5...ypad-code.html

There are many other threads. Just search this forum, using Advanced Search, and the key "keypad code" and include the quotation marks.

Remember that your truck has one master code, and it will never change. It will be found per the thread above. Then you can and should program your own personal code(s) for daily use. Something that will be easy to remember. The owners manual will tell you how to do that.
