97 f150 speedometer which fuse?

Question 97 f150 speedometer which fuse?

bought a 97 f150 4x2 with the 4.2 automatic. anyway the speedometer doesnt work. I'm assuming it electronic, which fuse would it be? I didn't see it on the list. thanks in advance

I have a 1997 F150 with the 4.6L V8. The speedometer/odometer appears to be the old style, not electronic. If yours is the same, then no fuse. You may have a broken cable or teeth missing on the cog.

mine looks like the old style also, but I crawled under it and there's no speedometer cable going to the transmission, just a connector with a wire towards the rear of the transmission. regards
