UHaul will be happy. UHaul has been purchasing gas burning class 6 trucks from GM since ford dropped the 429.

I'll have to let my dad know. Where he works they can't use diesel box trucks because of the stink getting into the factory and the workers complaining. They havn't been able to buy a new gas powered box md box truck for a very very long time. Certainly should sell and keep the initial purchase price down.

I expect the 6 speed soon in the 450/550 V10 trucks. I'm waiting to hear the V10 or other gas news for the 550's before I buy another.

Back to the old days when most medium duty trucks were gas powered. The old Fords with the 429s sure burned a lot of fuel.

I don't know why Ford never offered the V-10 before.

Now thats the cats meow... 3v V10 with the 6 speed....
I was just thinking the other day about a 3v v10 behind the 6 speed....

They will probably sell a lot of these for school bus/limo bus conversions.

I don't believe that was announced yet. Maybe not though, because the article only mentioned the 6 speed auto.

Wonder if they will be updating the interior from the 1999-2004 SD line as well.
